Girlhood Studies, as an academic discipline, is continually growing. Since some educational institutions include girls’ studies part of a special curriculum, program, certificate course, minor, or Women’s Studies Gender has presence in academia although at this stage rarely autonomous department. This interest the pedagogies and practices teaching important aspect its growth field study not only university level but also other settings outside them, be they workshops, programs for girls, summer camps, among others. Depending on these formal informal contexts, discussion approaches to ranges from theoretical those that outline hands-on projects invite promote girlhood.
